Reuben's Room Cat Rescue
(Reuben's Room is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, all volunteer cat rescue and no-kill sanctuary in Grand Rapids founded in 2003. Every adoption through Reuben's Room starts as a trial to ensure that the match is perfect. No adoption is final until the match feels right, resulting in the Reuben's Room Guarantee - any cat adopted from the rescue will be welcomed back at any time, for any reason, with no time limits.
They are the only rescue in the area to offer a Worry Free Adoption for Seniors program, in which they match a senior cat with a senior citizen looking for a companion. In the event that the senior is unable to travel to the rescue to obtain their feline friend, Reuben's Room will transport the cat to them. Reuben's Room will even welcome the cat back to the rescue should the senior need to be away from home for periods of time, offering peace of mind that the cat will be cared for until they can be reunited.
Reuben's Room exists and operates solely on donations from the public who want to support their mission. All donations and funds go directly to the care of the cats. If you care to make a donation to their cause, a check or money order can be sent to:
