Bark in the Dark 2018

The Humane Society of West Michigan is hosting the 6th Annual Bark in the Dark on Saturday, October 6 at Riverside Park. This family & dog friendly 5K and 1 mile fun run/walk benefits the animals of Humane Society of West Michigan. Attendees get to enjoy face painting, balloon animals, a pup-a-razzi photo booth, food, music, & beer tent. Get more information & sign up here.

This free family-friendly event includes fall crafts, treats, concessions, petting zoo, and more! Welcome the fall season from 1:30-3pm at Walker City Hall.
Kenowa Hills Knight Out Community Night

The whole community is invited to attend the FREE Knight Out Community Night on Friday, September 28! Starting at 5 p.m., families can enjoy carnival games, inflatables, give-a-ways, and more. The Kenowa Hills Athletic Boosters will be serving a special $3 meal deal and will have Kenowa Hills apparel to sell.
At 7 p.m. following Knight Out Community Night, our varsity football team will take on Fruitport at home.
The event will be held on the Kenowa Hills High School baseball field off Hendershot.
Walker Standale Family Fun Night & Movie in the Park

A free evening of fun for the whole family held at Walker Community Park. Face painting, music, crafts, and more. Bring blankets & lawn chairs and watch SING on the outdoor movie screen. Food trucks will be onsite with food, sno-cones, and concessions for purchase.

BISSELL Blocktail Party

The "Best DOG-GONE Party in Town" that serves as a fundraising event to support animal welfare organizations. Proceeds help reduce the number of homeless pets through grants assisting spay/neuter programs, microchipping, adoption, and foster care services. Food, fun, and silent auction. Dogs are welcome (no flexi-leashes allowed) and must be dog and stranger-friendly. Tickets are required. For more information visit Bissell Blocktail Party.
11th Annual Golf 4 Koz

A golf outing held at the Mines Golf Course to raise funds for The Robert A. Kozminski Scholarship and the Police Unity Tour. Officer Kozminski "Koz" was shot in the line of duty on July 8, 2007. His memory lives on through the scholarship established in his name to raise money for the next generation of police professionals. Tee times at 9am and 3pm, prime rib dinner for all at 1pm, and a raffle with great prizes at 7pm. Entry fee is $100 per golfer. Visit 11th Annual Golf 4 Koz for more information.

One of the biggest fall events of the community and free! Kids can enjoy inflatables, carnival games, prizes, face painting, and more. Pizza, hot dogs, and special $3 meal deals. Make sure to stay for the Kenowa Hills football game afterward (tickets sold separately).
